From transforming rented places to constructing new Kingdom Halls from foundation to finish
The journey began! LDC Albania was established, marking the start of our dedicated construction ministry.
May to December 2017.
We had the privilege of starting our work with the renovation of our Bible School Complex. This
comprehensive project involved major exterior and interior renovations throughout the entire
facility, giving us valuable experience that would guide our future work.
May to September 2018.
We were happy to renovate Kosovo's first owned Kingdom Hall in Pristina. The 190 square meter
facility was transformed through the dedicated efforts of volunteer brothers and sisters,
marking
a important achievement for Jehovah's people in Kosovo.
Our First Ground-Up Construction
In 2020, we reached a significant milestone by purchasing land for our first Kingdom Hall built
from the ground up. Construction began in April 2023, and we were blessed to see its completion
in July 2024. This standard Kingdom Hall spans 270 square meters and sits on a 1,000 square
meter property that includes a beautiful courtyard and parking spaces. While the main structure
was built by a construction company, LDC volunteers had the privilege of completing all interior
work, creating Berat's first purpose-built place of worship.
Bringing Standards to Life
From September 2024 to March 2025, we had the opportunity to renovate the Kingdom Hall in
Kinostudio. This 288 square meter facility was thoughtfully updated to align with the
organization's new standard design, with all work carried out by dedicated LDC volunteers who
brought fresh purpose to this established place of worship.
Kodra e Diellit Kingdom Hall
"We look forward to beginning the renovation of the Kingdom Hall in Kodra e Diellit in September
2025. This project will be particularly meaningful as it becomes Albania's first Kingdom Hall
featuring two auditoriums on a single floor, a unique milestone in our construction journey.

“I had a rare and truly beautiful experience. I thank Jehovah for giving me the opportunity to take part in the construction of the hall, even though I didn’t have any particular trade or skill. I’m especially grateful to the brothers and sisters from the LDC team, who patiently taught us how to work together and be cooperative. When I shared about this construction project with a return visit, they expressed deep appreciation and said it would be wonderful to see it in person.”

"I’m so happy that Jehovah uses brothers and sisters of all ages to contribute, no matter how small their contribution may be. When I’m on the construction site, I feel like I’m already in the new world, and I imagine that this is how we will all work together then too—only with greater strength. I’m overjoyed that I was able to make my small contribution to the construction of the Kingdom Hall, which will bring glory to Jehovah!"

Despite his age, the brother showed a willingness to help on the construction site and said: “It’s a privilege to build for Jehovah and to have a beautiful place where we can worship Him. In this way, we can praise Him and give a witness to His name!”

"For us as a couple, this assignment has been a special experience, and we’ve truly enjoyed it. We’ve met many different brothers and sisters who, regardless of their circumstances, give their best to Jehovah—sacrificing their time, skills, talents, and everything they have. We’ve met brothers and sisters whose qualities have left us with a fine example and have deeply encouraged us. This assignment has made us even happier, as we’ve seen how it has had a positive emotional impact on us as a couple."
Construction Servants
"We have experienced the truth of Matthew 19:29, as we have received many times more in return—forming new friendships and learning from the generosity, tirelessness, and willingness of the brothers and sisters we worked alongside. We also saw how Jehovah answered our prayers regarding every concern we had during the construction work, and this has drawn us even closer to Him. We thank Jehovah for this beautiful privilege that has filled our hearts with joy!"
One day, the Labor Inspectorate conducted an inspection and commended us because everyone working on site—brothers and sisters—was equipped with proper safety gear. One of the inspectors remarked, “This is something rare to see. At other sites I’ve inspected, the workers were not using any protective equipment.” After the construction of the hall was completed, that same inspector began a Bible study and continues to study with a sister who had been working for the contractor.
The director of the construction company also commented, “What sets you apart is the cooperation you have with one another. When you work, you all work together; when you take a break, you all rest together. Everything is done in unity.”
